DPS Photograph Evaluation

has nice lighting and will be used in my DPS as the main image or a sub image. will have to edit the background slightly and whiten the eyes a little.
the background lighting is too dark. the pose is too 'POP' instead of R&B. lighting on the face is good may use this for contents page sub-image (still unsure)
the background needs to be edited. its a good photo and well focused. the pose is good and model is in the centre but i feel as though the photo needs to be darkened slightly.
photo needs to be cropped. the lighting is nice although the right side of the backdrop is darker than the left.
There is a lot of head room which needs to be cropped. the lighting is good. however i'm not one hundred percent sure on the models pose and whether or not it reflects the genre R&B.
I like this photo and the effect of black and white makes the picture seem classic and demure. the picture is well lit . making the model look down is slightly unconventional but works for this photo graph.

Practice Photos for DPS

This shot would have been to dark to use on my double page spread.
There is to much shade w behind the model. I don't particularly like
the direction to which the model is facing as it feels as though there is
                            no connection with the audience.
This picture out of my four chosen practice shots is my favourite as
the models eye line is to the camera, although it is subtle there is a
connection between the model and the audience. I like the fact that the
model looks as if she has been caught in the moment singing. the
positioning of the left hand highlights this, as many singers a known
for moving there free arm whilst singing.
I wouldn't have used this shot as the model isn't in the middle and there
is a section of the photograph which is showing a non white section
                             making the photograph look unprofessional.
The lighting is good in this photo, however the model is not exactly centre
and the prop is held at an awkward angle resulting in the prop being                                       unseen. I do like the direct eye line. and the tilt in the head position shows the models character.
